Vocal Coaching, Wellness, Somatic Experiencing and BMVT Bodywork

What is your physical voice telling you about your emotional state?

What is this wisdom contained in your voice?

How can you harness this information for change and transformation as you find your authentic voice?

Clarify your “inner and outer voice”

This work provides an opportunity to develop the skills for saying what you mean (the message) and how you want to convey it (voice). It involves exploring the relationship between one’s own voice and the mind, body, emotional connection. The areas of mouth, throat, neck, and jaw are addressed with Biodynamic manual therapy with the intention of opening the “avenue of expression”. Somatic exploration and exercises are used to work with stress and trauma that may inhibit optimal communication.

Transgender Voice and Communication Training

Biodynamic Manual Voice Therapy (BMVT) Bodywork

Biodynamic Manual Voice Therapy (BMVT) is a gentle hands-on, integrated approach used to address the structural components related to nervous system regulation, vocal function, speech and swallowing. The word “bio” means life and “dynamic” refers to motion, change and progress. This integrated approach includes several manual therapy modalities including Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Contract Relax Therapy, Positional Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. It is gentle, holistic, and follows the intelligence of your own inner treatment plan as directed by your body, mind and spirit.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

Somatic Experiencing, developed by Peter Levine, Ph.D., is a body based approach that helps with healing trauma and chronic stress through a variety of experiences and exercises. The work facilitates a more balanced nervous system (regulation). We explore the relationship between sensations (the felt sense), emotions, thoughts and beliefs for a greater sense of ease and freedom.
